The 80 series Audis are the last models with the Quattro DNA from the original early 1980's AWD system design. These cars are still rough and manual to drive, feature pneumatically locking rear differentials and allow for a driving experience that can take your soul back to the 1980's gravel rally roads. While the Typ 89 might look like an old commuter car to most, those who understand the Quattro technology know there is a rallying soul underneath the surface.
